Dead sausage

Don't believe the hype - this could have been better, boys and girls!

Everyone who expected a three day fuckin blast festival at this weekend's Wurstsalon, was heavily disappointed, as the whole party was shut down & the location closed on Sunday 2am by our beloved municipality due to certain reasons, that could have been avoided by the organisator's side.

The afterhour at the Volksgarten Banane was musically kinda acceptable (well, the treble was much too high, as the bass was to low), but considering a crowd combination of EURO 2008 idiots and solarium brown Krocha lookalikes with 5€ "Armani" shirts, this party was definitely not comparable to any Wurstsalon and a shame for all the involved people behind this event.

Well, the Wurstsalon & Pompadour guys only had about 30 minutes to organize an alternative location, so the Volksgarten was a sure shot, as VICE is currently hosting a lot there, but it's still a mystery why the party at the Pratersauna was such a bad organized one:

1) There was no chlorine in the pool, so it was basically a mix of beer, piss and cigarettes on the 2nd day
2) There was no single bath attendant arranged for the pool
3) Apparently there were also problems with emergency exits & fire drenchers and to top it all:
4) This event wasn't even registered and declared as an outdoor event, so it's kinda clear that the magistrate could come at any time and bring this party down.

Here you can find some great pics of Friday's Wurstsalon at the original Pratersauna location, made by the fabulous Stylishkidsinriot.

Happily, a good show at the SASS by Tom Braider & Ruuk really saved this evening (let's call it morning) with a really nice set and a cool crowd (not to compare with an average Wurstsalon crowd of course) partying till noontime.

But hey, this mistake won't get us down, as we're totally looking forward to tomorrow's Pony party at the Volksgarten Banane - get dancey!
